Oakes Farms is located on Tennessee Hwy. 30 on the Cumberland Plateau near Fall Creek Falls.

It was founded by Raymond and Bernice Oakes in 1947. Since 1963, Oakes Farms has produced quality registered Angus cattle with a combination of top quality sires purchased from reputable Angus farms and selective replacement heifers from our herd.

A rising star on the Oakes Farms horizon is Oakes Volunteer. Although a little camera shy here, Volunteer is a great looking young bull with a great attitude. We are looking forward with excitement at the prospect of seeing his calves as they start hitting the ground in January of 2010.

Volunteer is a grandson of G A R Evas Exceptional and Conneally Bottomline. He is out of a great cow, UTP Erica 2363 (pictured at the top).
