November 21 Scripture Verse for Today I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your
bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. (Romans 12:1) And be not conformed to
this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect,
will of God. (Romans 12:2)
Godly men of old would bring animal sacrifices to offer unto God. Today the Lord wants our bodies,
minds and hearts instead of animals. Just as the Old Testament sacrifices were to be perfect, God requires
holiness and complete dedication from us. At the moment of
our salvation the Holy Spirit takes residence within us. He changes the thoughts of our minds and hearts.
Our values and priorities change as He makes us more like our loving Savior.
By the renewing of our minds we will become transformed from a worldly, selfish person into a beautiful child of the
King. Let’s go out today
and let Jesus shine through us. That’s just our reasonable service to God!
