May 17 Scripture Verse for
Today
Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes. (Psalm 119:135)
After enduring a storm with its dark clouds, thunder and lightnings it is so reassuring to see the clouds fade away
and the bright sun shine once again upon the earth. With its brilliant rays making every wet blade of grass
radiate with beauty we confidently muse, “The storm wasn’t so bad after all.” That’s
how I feel when the face of my loving Lord shines down from Heaven on me! Like an assuring rainbow after
a terrible storm the Lord recharges my spiritual batteries and gives me new hope.
Are you going through a valley? Look up to the hills of Heaven and you will find that He is still
there with a blessing for you! ~
